The old fish market will become the seaside hotspot.
Repositioning of the old fish market and the former popular Port Museum in Zeebrugge, giving it a new style direction. Conceptual elaborations such as signage or wayfinding were also elaborated by Remes.
Giving an authentic fish market venue an innovative twist by dividing the building into four separate thematic sub-zones. The names were developed by Remes and then also conceptually presented. Sportkade, Marktoever, Foodfront, Handelskaai.
The ‘e’ and the ‘a’ are connected through a wave which represents the location of the adventure center in Zeebrugge. The 'Z'-symbol at the end is also a wink to the location and is a derivation of the copyright symbol. The flowing font is a completely handmade font to recreate the waves of the sea. This is also why blue is the main color in this brand. The tagline underneath the logo was very important as this case was a complete rebranding.
