With her own startup, Remes, Anjo Wychuyse joined forces with the #avancokampkot initiative by Avanco Adventure & Events. It was a bootcamp from the comfort of your own home, complete with well-known personalities. A blend of challenges and tasks designed to inject a bit of adventure into life during the COVID-19 quarantine.
Teaming up with Aaron Vanneste and a few familiar faces, Anjo crafted video challenges for children who couldn't attend camps due to the pandemic during the Easter break. Each day, a new task was shared via posts or videos on Facebook and their website, inviting everyone to participate.
This initiative served as the perfect substitute for the Easter camp that unfortunately couldn't take place. It kept children engaged, giving them a sense of having experienced camp life, albeit from their own homes. Many parents also embraced this initiative warmly. Participants could share all their achievements, and yes, even their mishaps, using the hashtag #avancokampkot.
